- Wado-atsu Massage: Full-body massage performed on a futon or a table to suit your needs. Based on Shiatsu, I follow meridian lines and use a variety of techniques (like, pressing with palms, thumbs, fingers, elbows, knees or feet, and when appropriate, more dynamic rotations and stretches) to dissolve muscular/energy blockages, to improve energy flow throughout the body, to promote deep relaxation and to help the body recover from different illnesses.
- Moxibustion: Also referred to as Traditional Home Acupuncture is a type of heat therapy in which a herb (mugwort) is burned on or above the skin to warm and stimulate (or sedate) acupuncture points in your body. I favour this method because I can train you on how to apply it on yourself, making the recovery process faster and cheaper for you.

- Lymphatic Drainage Massage: This technique involves gently but vigorously massaging the lymphatic system: it runs parallel to the circulatory system and is made up of a network of very fine capillaries, clusters of nodes and glands. It collects waste and toxins from the cells. The lymphatic fluid moves by muscle movement, it isn’t pumped around like blood. This massage can help get the lymph flowing, especially for those who are bed-ridden or with strong sedentary habits. It may also help the body get rid of excess weight.
- Pregnancy Massage (pre/post-natal): Pregnancy is a time of many challenges for the woman’s body so a relaxing treatment can make a huge difference in her daily life.
Prenatal massage can help release some of your back pain as your belly grows, prevent ankle swelling, increase leg circulation, promote good sleep and reduce heartburn and other uncomfortable symptoms.
Post-natal massage will help your body return to its pre-pregnancy state faster even if you have had a caesarean-section.
- Baby Massage (Shantala): This massage, based on the ancient Indian technique Shantala, calms and soothes the baby, strengthens the bond between baby and parent (I teach it on to the parent), increases the baby’s immunity and stimulates the endocrine system among other benefits.
- Senior Massage: Massage therapy for the senior offers numerous benefits – it helps to cope with joint and muscle pain, it assists in getting a better quality of sleep, it speeds up healing from injury and illness, it reduces stress, anxiety, depression, headaches, etc. This massage helps experience improved overall circulation, increased energy levels and feel an enhanced quality of life. Especially necessary when your physical activity is mainly walking.
- Aromatherapy Facials: This treatment involves working your face muscles using acupressure points and aromatherapy essential oils. As a result, your skin will feel relaxed and glow from the inside out. The oils (chosen for their antioxidant, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and/or anti-aging properties) get down deep into your pores and work on the inner layers. They encourage the face to regenerate damaged cells, ease out wrinkles and tighten saggy skin.

- Reflexology: Our feet are complex anatomical structures with thousands of nerve endings linked to our internal organs. This explains why, according to Eastern Medicine, when they are massaged, you will enjoy relief from body pains, oedema will alleviate, blood circulation improves, and so does your mood. Foot reflexology helps in relaxation, promotes better sleep and fights depression among other benefits.
- Ear Candling: If you suffer from frequent or seasonal ENT (ear, nose and throat) complaints, ear candling is a specific treatment for you. These bees-wax candles are hollow – the pointed end is placed in the ear canal while the other end is lit. The warm air creates a “suction” movement that will draw earwax up the ear canal towards the outside end of the cone. It improves hearing and assists in the treatment of conditions like sinus infections and colds among others. Especially useful in autumn/winter.
- Ionic Detoxifying Foot Spa: Your cells naturally absorb nutrients and excrete waste products – any imbalance in the body (caused by modern lifestyle to poor nutrition or illness) can prevent the cells from performing these functions efficiently. The ionic foot spa stimulates the body to detoxify and rebalance, supporting it to perform its natural functions more effectively. A 30-to-60-minute treatment, according to your condition, will deeply enhance and boost your energy levels. Benefits have also been reported in the reduction of pain and discomfort after chemotherapy, relief from allergic reactions, calming of eczema and other skin conditions, circulation in lower limbs, arthritic pain in the joints, etc. This system was granted Class IIa Medical approval in UK in 2004.

- Herbal Medicine and Naturopathic Supplements: During the initial consultation or over the course of treatments, the need for some personalised advice on herbal medicine may become obvious. Supplements may aid the body recover faster from deficiencies, they naturally compensate and correct bodily imbalances without side-effects.
- Nutrition/Macrobiotics: Macrobiotics (from Greek, Long Life) philosophy explains what Human Beings’ appropriate food is. A balanced nutritional plan designed using Macrobiotics principles will take into consideration your needs, age, season, health condition, etc.

- Kinesiotaping is a rehabilitative technique invented in Japan in the 1970s. This thin and stretchy tape has ever since been used to alleviate pain (joint, back, knee…), reduce inflammation, relax muscles, enhance athletic performance and support muscles and tendons during injury rehabilitation.

- Movements for Wellness: Movement is essential to good health. But our modern societies have turned us more and more sedentary. In these sessions, you will perform a set of simple movements to keep your body active. I also use breathing techniques, Do-In exercises (also known as self-shiatsu) and teach massage techniques for you to know how to treat basic aches (headaches, neck ache, back ache…) in you or your beloved ones. Excellent routine to prevent stiffness and lack of flexibility, to stimulate the immune system and to promote good overall health. Even in the group session, each participant gets personalised attention to the specific painful/challenging area they want to address. One-to-one sessions available.

- Counselling: There are times when your mental health simply needs somebody who will listen to you and hold a space of compassion without judgement so that you can find your own solutions. In person or on-line.
